The research symposium aims to bring together researchers in the CSD field in order to discuss a specific topic, as well as brand-new research being conducted in that area. The Research Mentoring-Pair Travel Award (RMPTA) is offered in conjunction with this program. This award provides a $1,000 to mentor-mentee pairs who have indicated an interest in CSD research. The monies are intended to offset some of the cost of attending the Symposium (and annual ASHA Convention.)
