Membership Status and Categories

Is Your ASHA or NSSLHA Membership Current?

To make your Convention registration experience as easy as possible, now is a good time to check your membership status and make sure that your dues are current. The Convention registration process requires you to register using the same membership category that is indicated in ASHA's database.

If your registration shows a member category that does not match the one in the ASHA database, your registration cannot be processed until this problem is resolved, and mailing of your Convention materials may be delayed. If you have questions regarding your membership or dues, call the ASHA Action Center at 800-498-2071.

How You Can Join ASHA

ASHA membership applications cannot be accepted at Convention. If you plan to join ASHA, call 800-498-2071. Your membership may not be processed in time for you to take advantage of the discounted registration fee; therefore, you should pay the fee that applies to you at the time you register.

If your membership status changes and you receive your membership number and certification before November 19, 2009, a refund can be requested by mail from:

ASHA Convention Refund
Convention & Meetings #325
2200 Research Boulevard
Rockville, MD 20850-3289

Refunds cannot be made during Convention. You will receive a credit card refund or check refund in the mail after Convention. The deadline for refund requests is November 19, 2009.
