Dynamic Learning Groups–Back by Popular Demand!

Try an Innovative Way of Learning at ASHA

Have you ever left a program session anxious to talk about what you just learned or to hear someone else's perspective and insight? Are you interested in meeting professionals from across the country that could expand your network of colleagues? Do you want to discuss how to apply what you learned to real-world situations?

If you answered yes to the above questions, then ASHA's Dynamic Learning Groups (DLGs), or small informal working groups, might be just what you need.

DLGs are Designed to Help You:

  • Meet new professional contacts
  • Connect with others who share your interests
  • Deepen and extend your learning from Convention
  • Apply what you learn to real-world situations

On site, you'll be introduced to your DLG colleagues during an initial lunch meeting, receive some guidelines for making the most of your Convention experience and form groups based on interests. On Saturday, the groups will reconvene over lunch to share their Convention experiences and discuss what they've learned.

Here's What You'll Get:

  • Lunch provided on Thursday and Saturday
  • Guidance on working together to enhance learning
  • Access to a special room set aside for Dynamic Learning Groups to meet during Convention
  • Visibility: a ribbon for your badge

Registration for the 2009 DLGs program has now closed.
